There is so much to see and do on Oahu, how can you make sure you don't miss anything? Easy! Take an organized tour! From Hawaii-Five O to Jurassic Park, the spectacular waterfalls and scenic mountains of Oahu have been used as backdrops in any number of movies and TV shows. One of the best ways to experience this is from the air, by helicopter, plane or even a silent glider. Prices vary according to the method of flight, the time of day and the length, but generally start in the $80-$100 range. Try these: If you would prefer to get 'up close and personal' with the Oahu nature tours, you'll find many local companies offering hiking tours and eco-tours. Be sure to wear suitable clothes (something waterproof is good, and definitely something you don't mind getting a little dirty!), and stick to an established company, they usually have the best Oahu guides, and they also know how to deal with any emergencies that may arise. If history is more of your thing, then be sure to visit the USS Arizona memorial, scene of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the nearby Battleship Missouri where the Japanese surrendered 4 years later. *Important note* - with increased security, many items (diaper bags, fanny packs, backpacks, etc) are not allowed Many visitors to Oahu will take a dolphin
cruise, or snorkeling trip. There are also plenty of places that offer
a more daring option...swimming with sharks and rays! Sea
Life Park is a great place to do this, they have full diving suits
so even the non-scuba tourists can enjoy a once in a life time experience.
