Jamaica is a lush tropical island with three primary resorts at Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, and Negril. Ocho Rios is the largest resort area and has the largest concentration of hotels, Motego Bay is the center of commerce on the island, and Negril is the most secluded and the most beautiful.

Scuba diving is available in Jamaica, but Jamaica has done a terrible job of protecting the reefs. If you are looking for the best diving, we recommend Jamaica's neighbor just to the west, Cayman Islands, who have done a great job of protecting the reefs. Smart governments know that losing the coral reef means losing tourist, but Jamaica just doesn't get it.

The resort town of Ocho Rios is the most popular destination for many visiting Jamaica. The town is also the center for cruise ships that dock in Jamaica. Negril is the most secluded place to stay in all of Jamaica. It is also the most isolated and the most liberal. Nudity is the norm here, not the exception.
